A few years ago, L o Marius successfully used 3D printing technology to print the film SLR camera OpenReflex (except for the lens), and now digital designer Amos Dudley has even printed a complete 35mm film camera, including the lens and shutter. 3D printing technology has been able to print everything from rocket parts to home buildings, so we are not surprised by the camera. The question is how is the camera lens printed? Dudley used the Form 2 solid 3D printer from Formlabs to create transparent firmware that was later post-processed enough to act as a camera lens. The camera's shutter is based on the 1885 CJ Wollaston design, which first re-scans into a digital model and then manually adjusts to meet the shooting needs. The shutter speed can be adjusted with the buttons on the top of the camera, and the print blueprint for this camera can be downloaded from Pinshape. The picture below shows the color proofs taken with this camera. More samples are accessed by Flickr. (Editor) Foshan Qiaotai Furniture Products Co., Ltd. , https://www.qiaotaifurniture.com
