Recently, Domino Printing Sciences plc introduced a new white opaque ink, the 253WT, designed specifically for Domino's A series of continuous inkjet printers.

According to reports, this white ink shading effect is very good. This kind of ink is also very strong in its ability to adhere, and you can use this ink to get a clear line of bar codes. Even on some smooth surfaces (such as metal, plastics, glass and porcelain), it has high abrasion and scratch resistance. At the same time, this ink is also very good in water resistance and light resistance, and it is not prone to discoloration. Depending on the surface of the medium and the ambient temperature, it cures in as little as 1 to 2 seconds.

For their A-Series printers, Domino offers four inks: 290WT, 251WT, 252WT and now 253WT. These inks are universal white shading inks using butanone as a solvent. The thermal inkjet printing technology used in A series printers ensures that the viscosity of the ink is moderate, thus ensuring consistent print quality.
