Gidue Co., Ltd. and Nuova Castagnoli Co., Ltd. have announced an alliance to jointly develop offset printing technology for roll-to-roll. The two companies will share technology and Gidue will be responsible for sales and after-sales services for printing units worldwide.

The primary goal of the two companies is to introduce a new press "Xpannd" that will merge the best technology and control equipment from both companies. This printer is equipped with a PC-type "Nemo" printer operator interface, Siemens servo technology, "Flower" flexo printing unit, "Galileo" offset printing unit, and a new hot stamping jointly developed by the two companies. The system, it is said that the system can greatly reduce the overall cost of the hot stamping process.

Located in Florence, Italy, Nuova Castagnoli Srl has inherited the tradition of Castagnoli, founded in 1921. Since 1979, it has been manufacturing rotary offset presses and has sold more than 1,000 offset presses.
