Common Faults 5: Twisted Printed Images

When printing on a raised or recessed surface, image distortion often occurs.

Possible causes Solution:

Heads: Improper selection of the shape of the print head. Try a different type of print head; the head is too soft or too hard. Use a different print head of different hardness; the image is too close to the print head. Move the edge to the position of the print head or replace it with a new one.

Corrosion gravure: Corrosion depth is too deep The ink is too thin and the stains on the print are often mistaken for image distortion.

Ink: ink is too thin resulting in dirty prints

Substrate: Printed objects move or the surface is crushed using a special jig or pad.

Other reasons: Improper selection of fixtures for printed objects, replacement of fixtures to enable it to firmly support various positions of printed objects; fixtures move to check fixtures to make them firm; printed on corners to check if the angle of fixtures is correct.
