Why is garbage classification so important? First of all, it is imperative. At the mobilization meeting, Shanghai announced the three major goals of waste separation in 2019: First, the comprehensive coverage pattern of domestic waste classification was basically formed, and more than 70% of residential areas achieved the effectiveness of waste classification; second, the classification system was basically completed, including “two networks”. Originally, there are garbage bins in each stairwell, and residents can throw garbage in a few steps. The cleaning staff goes upstairs twice a day to collect garbage. On March 30 last year, the “Gorgeous Family” community floor trash cans were all removed, and the classification and scheduled placement were started. On the first day, more than 100 households threw the rubbish on the corridor, and the cleaning staff had to collect it layer by layer. On the second day, the number of residents throwing garbage in the corridor was reduced to more than 30 households, and then there were only a few scattered households.

It can't be "the front end is very hard, and the back end is still completely burned out." The Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government stressed that to win the long-term battle against the classification of garbage, we must adhere to high standards. The terminal disposal hardware facilities must be domestically leading and world-class, and software management should be coordinated and efficient, and run smoothly, aiming at the direction of “higher recycling rate and lowest proportion of landfill”.

Do not engage in "one-man show" and form "big chorus"
