At present, the factory production area of ​​the whole greenhouse tomato plant reaches 100,000 square meters, of which the production area of ​​Xiaotangshan special vegetable base is 20,000 square meters, and the output per square meter reaches 31.5 kilograms, which is doubled compared with ordinary production; The water consumption has been reduced to 27 kilograms; the key technologies such as the long-term seasoning of foreign tomato planting, the retention of sorghum and the grafting of small seedlings have been introduced, and the technical model of factory production in the glasshouse of the Beijing suburb has been formed.

These technologies and achievements have attracted the attention of their peers and attracted the leaders of Wuhuatou Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. to visit them many times. At the end of last year, Wuhuatou Company built a 2,300 square meter modern intelligent greenhouse, which is intended to produce high-end fine vegetables. After the completion of the greenhouse, the systems and equipment for water and fertilizer integration, seedling raising, irrigation, etc. have not yet been found. It is reported that in order to promote the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei facility vegetables to the direction of factory production, Beijing has established the first vegetable factory production research and development and demonstration center in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Relying on the Xiaotangshan special vegetable base, the center will undertake the technology promotion public welfare function, co-ordinate the research institutes' expert resources and professional service enterprises, and build a cooperation platform between the government, research institutes and enterprises. Through the introduction of advanced vegetable factory planting technology, equipment and management technology at home and abroad, we will build a nationwide facility agriculture innovation platform integrating demonstration, promotion, testing and training functions, and accelerate the cultivation of vegetable factory technology in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
