The British Journal Publishers Association (PPA) will collaborate with the International Cross-industry Organization PrintCity Alliance to showcase innovative printing technologies at the 37th International Journal Publishing Association (FIPP) World Magazine Conference at the world’s largest magazine event. It will be held in London from May 4th to May 6th, 2009. Highly innovative production technologies are used in various printed materials to reflect the vitality of printing.

The conference is hosted by the British Journal Publishers Association (PPA) representing the International Journal Publishing Union (FIPP) for a three-day period. CEOs from around the world will work together to plan the future of the industry and celebrate the “magic of the magazine”. In keeping with this theme, the printed conference schedule will showcase a variety of value-added printing and processing technologies, and the creative potential of paper and printing is an integral part of the multi-platform content strategy.

The first to be presented to everyone is a six-page invitation letter (to be issued this week). This invitation letter is very eye-catching and fully reflects the innovative technology, can make a deep impression on people, and attract the audience to the meeting. These techniques include recombination of cold foil, blended Matt, and glossy coatings to create a shiny metal matt effect.
