The judging was hosted by the China Arts and Crafts Association and was attended by 10 experts from Tsinghua University, the Palace Museum and the Arts and Crafts Association of Guangdong, Henan, Jiangsu and Shandong. Now it has developed into a cluster of 40 mahogany furniture enterprises with more than 4,000 employees, more than 500 senior technicians and more than 1,000 skilled workers. It also has an industrial chain of timber sales, handicraft production, furniture production and exhibition hall sales. Development model, the products are sold to Weifang, Qingdao, Jinan and other provinces and major cities in Shanghai and Beijing. Last year, the fixed assets of Xihe Town Redwood Enterprise reached 230 million yuan, and the annual sales income was 320 million yuan, accounting for 62% of the town's sales revenue. In 2007, Xihe Town was awarded the “Hometown of Redwood Furniture in Shandong Province”. In June 2009, it was awarded “Shandong Province Characteristic Industrial Cluster”. In December 2009, it was awarded “Top Ten Brand Townships in Shandong Province”.
