5.4.2.1 The outer packaging of pesticide EC mainly uses corrugated boxes and calcium plastic corrugated boxes for pesticides. The net weight of each box should not exceed 15kg.
5.4.2.2 The amount of packaging
The assembly volume of the outer packaging is determined based on the packaging unit and the net content. The recommended assembly amount is shown in Table 1.

5.4.3 Packing and sealing
5.4.3.1 Put the qualified pesticide emulsion into the specified bottle, cover the inner plug and the outer cover, and seal it.
5.4.3.2 Stick a sturdy, strong label on the bottle. For glass bottles, use corrugated cardboard sleeves or blister packs.
5.4.3.3 After placing a liner at the bottom of a corrugated box (Calcium-plastic box), press the total mass of the box according to the amount stipulated in 5.4.2.2, and use polypropylene straps to taper two, three, and lengthwise. Two horizontal lines or two horizontal lines each make a "well" shape. Bundled outer packaging should not be loose under normal storage and transportation conditions. For light containers less than 5kg, no bundling may be required but the test requirements of this standard shall be met.
6 packaging marks
6.1 Identification of the packaging box According to GB/T 4857.1--1992 2.1, the provisions of each side of the parallelepiped packing box are shown in Figure 1.
6.2 Inner packaging (middle packaging) The label on the inner packaging and the middle packaging box should be affixed with a firm and eye-catching label. The label content should include:
1) Product name (active ingredient content + Chinese common name + dosage form);
2) E-ISO common name;
3) Active ingredient and its content (single active ingredient preparation may be omitted);
4) pesticide registration number;
5) production license (pesticide production approval certificate) number;
6) product standard number;
7) Net content (by mass, g or by volume, mL);
8) Trademarks;
9) production date or (and) lot number;
10) Name of the manufacturer (company);
11) The address of the manufacturer (company) can also be marked with telephone, fax and zip code;
12) Toxicity markers (According to the actual oral toxicity test data of the product, it is divided into highly toxic, highly toxic, poisonous and low toxicity signs) and other hazard signs such as "flammable" and "moisture resistant" (according to GB 190 and GB) 191 regulations sign);
13) product instructions;
14) Precautions (especially the use of safety precautions and scope of use);
15) Guarantee period;
16) According to the conditions, the approved product name and product barcode mark may be added. In addition, the label shall also comply with the “Product Labeling Regulations†of the State (Document No. 172 of the Supervision Bureau of the Technology Bureau [1997]).
6.3 For the packaging of large packaging barrels, please refer to 6.2, but the instructions for use of the product can be omitted.
6.4 packaging marks 6. 4.1 The 5 sides and 6 sides of the box (see Figure 1), the upper left corner marks the trademark, the middle upper product name (active ingredient content + Chinese generic name + dosage form); product name above from left to right in order of pesticide registration certificate No., Production License (Pesticide Production Approval Certificate) No. and Product Standard No. The name of the lower standard factory (company) on 5 sides and 6 sides. 6.4.2 Nominal toxicity and other hazard signs on the 2 sides and 4 sides of the box, middle and lower standard packaging units and assembly volume, net content, box specifications [length × width × height (mm)] and production date or (And) lot number and warranty period.
According to the biological activity of pesticides, the color bar signs are divided into:
Herbicides - green,
Insecticide - red,
Fungicide - black,
Rodenticide - blue,
Plant growth regulator - dark yellow.
The color bar mark on the front of the label and its packaging should be consistent with the provisions of GB 3796.
7 Packages Transportation and Storage
7.1 Transportation 7.1.1 During the process of loading, it should be handled according to the requirements of drug loading and unloading, pay attention to safety protection, take it gently, and do not drop, roll and invert.
7.1.2 Cars shall be covered with rainproof tarpaulins and secured with ropes to prevent them from falling off.
7.1.3 Boxcars shall be used for rail transport and shipped in accordance with the railway drug transport regulations.
7.1.4 When transporting, do not mix with food, seeds and feed, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and prevent inhalation from mouth and nose.
7.2 Storage 7.2.1 Packages of pesticide EC packaging and vats should be stored in ventilated and dry warehouses. Storehouses should be kept away from sources of fire.
7.2.2 Corrugated cardboard boxes and calcium plastic boxes should be stacked at a distance of 100mm from the ground. The stacking height should not exceed 3.0m.
7.2.3 As the pesticide EC product is toxic and flammable, the warehouse should be equipped with facilities for anti-virus, fire prevention and moisture protection.
7.2.4 When the pesticide EC packaging is stored at the goods yard and pier, it must be covered with veil, away from the fire source, and a warning sign should be hoisted.
7.2.5 When storing, do not mix with food, seeds and feed to avoid contact with children.
8 Test methods
8.1 stacking test conducted in accordance with GB/T 4857.3.
8.2 drop test in accordance with GB/T 4857.5.
8.3 airtight test in accordance with GB/T 17344.
8.4 Hydraulic tests are performed in accordance with Appendix C of GB/T 325--1991.
9 Packaging acceptance
9.1 Package Quality Inspection 9.1.1 Sampling: less than 10,000 samples in each batch, 0.5% sampling (at least 3), and more than 10,000 samples in each batch, 0.3% sampling.
9.1.2 Visual inspection: The package is intact, not loose, with clear marks, complete content, and correct location.
9.1.3 Unpacking Inspection: The label of the bottle is firm, the contents are clear and complete, and it is not allowed to paste wrong, stick and omit. The packaging quantity is correct, the certificate and instruction manual are placed in the box, and the batch number of the certificate and the batch number of the bottle body should be the same.
9.1.4 Leakage inspection: Invert the box for 3min. Check it open and there should be no leakage at the bottle mouth.
9.1.5 Net content test: After deducting the quality of empty bottles, it shall be subject to acceptance by the State in relation to the measurement of quantitatively packaged goods.
9.1.6 Package stacking test: It should meet the requirements of Table 1 in GB 12463--1990 4.1.
9.1.7 Drop test of packages: It should meet the Class II requirements of Table 2 of GB 12463--1990.
9.1.8 Airtight test of packages: It should meet the requirements of Class II of Table 3 of GB 12463--1990.
9.1.9 Hydraulic test of packages: It shall meet the requirements of Table 4 of GB 12463--1990 4.1.
9.2 Acceptance of packaging quality When the user and the manufacturer dispute the quality of the package, the user is entitled to retest it in accordance with the provisions of this standard. If the retest results do not meet the requirements of this standard, the user has the right to reject it.
